Choices, Choices.....

Well in this post we are supposed to figure out which ofthe three options we want to use for our second essay. I truthfully have no idea which one to pick. So I decided to work my way thru both the ideas i like best.

My first choice would be the second option which is applying West's article to a blog of our choice. This one entices me because I find it easier to talk about others more than myself. Second, because I would choose the same travel blog I did for the first essay, which would make me much more acustomed to it.

My second choice is the third option, which involves the sythesis option. Personally, I enjoy using sythesis considering I also used it in the first essay as well. But the problem is I haven't bothered to start researching outside sourceswhich could take some time even considering the time increase because of the new option choices.

So as far as my choice I am leaning towards option two but you never know it may turn out option three will work out better. So thus my title. But to start the brainstorming prcess at least I decide choice two. So now to refresh my memory on Chris Adams, peace....

  1. Sounds like a good plan. You can start with option 2 while looking for articles. You can always add relevant articles if you do option 2--good academic writing is a conversation with many participants.

This entry shows your mind at work. I can see the learning going on as I read. :)

  2. Keep up the good plans, I think you have the options most definently and I hope you find which one to choose from.

  3. It seems like everyone is working towards option 2 haha. That's awesome that you've considered looking into the 3 option, like you said it definitely requires some synthesizing. I also remember you saying in core lab you had two other papers going on so option two in the long run is the best way to go. Keep it up!

  4. Did you make some decisions about your essay? I don't see a writer's memo that will help readers focus their energy when they review your essay. Did you already speak to your readers offline? Since you haven't created a post asking for feedback, readers may not be sure where to post their comments.
